How to Use the Cornhole Scoreboard

Cornhole Scoreboard for Singles

How Cornhole Scoring Works
Every bag is worth points based on exactly where it lands.

Cornhole uses cancellation scoring. Once both sides have thrown, compare their totals for the frame and subtract the lower one from the higher one — only that difference gets added to the scoreboard.
Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 3 points. Team A gets 2 points for the frame.
Team B's 3 points cancel out 3 of Team A's 5 — only the difference of 2 is added to the running score.

What Score Does the Scoreboard Play To?

A team must reach the target at the end of a completed frame — never mid-frame — to win, so update the scoreboard only once both sides have finished throwing.
Common Cornhole Scoreboard Mistakes
Forgetting to Update the Score
The scoreboard only shows what you tap in — update it right after every frame, not several frames later.
Entering the Wrong Team Score
Double-check which side you're tapping + or − for before you tap it, especially mid-game.
Forgetting Cancellation Scoring
