Cornhole Foul Rules: Fouls, Foul Line & Penalties

A foul in cornhole is any throw that doesn't meet the position, timing, or equipment requirements set out in the official rules. A throw can be ruled a foul because of where the player is standing, because a foot crosses the foul line before the bag is released, because the bag is thrown out of turn, or because the bag itself doesn't meet the conditions for a legal throw.
