How to Use a Cornhole Score Sheet
1.Enter the Team Names
Type each team's name into the two fields above the sheet, or write them in by hand if you're using a printed copy.
2.Apply Cancellation Scoring
Once both sides have thrown, compare their raw points for the frame and subtract the lower total from the higher one. Only that difference counts, and only for the team that scored more.
3.Record the Frame Score
Enter that difference in the winning side's Frame column for that row. The other team's cell stays blank — only one side scores in any given frame.
4.Update the Running Total
The Total columns add up automatically as you go, so you always know where each team stands.
5.Record the Final Score
Once the game ends, the Final row shows each team's finished total for the game.
How to Record Cornhole Scoring
A bag in the hole is worth three points, a bag on the board is worth one, and a bag off the board scores nothing.

The score sheet is built around cancellation scoring. Total both teams' raw points for the frame, subtract the lower total from the higher one, and only enter the difference for the team that scored more.
Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 3 points. Team A records 2 points for that frame.
Team B's 3 points cancel out 3 of Team A's 5 — only the difference goes on the sheet.

Cornhole Scorecard
"Score sheet," "scorecard," and "scoring sheet" all describe the same thing: a printed or digital form used to track frames and running totals during a cornhole game. The names are used interchangeably across leagues and players, and every version on this page works the same way no matter which term you use for it.
Cornhole Score Sheet for Singles
For singles, rename the two fields Player 1 and Player 2 instead of team names. Record each player's frame score the same way — frame by frame, with the running total updating automatically — until one player reaches the winning score.
Cornhole Score Sheet for Doubles
For doubles, the sheet tracks Team 1 vs. Team 2, with two players per team combining their points each frame. Enter the team's combined frame score after cancellation scoring is applied, the same as any other format.

Each frame's score is added to the previous total, not reset. Because cancellation scoring is applied before anything is written down, only one team scores in a given frame — the other column stays blank. After frame 3, Team A leads 6 to 3; Team B's single point in frame 4 narrows that to 6–4. The running total column always shows the game score at that point, not just the frame.

What Score Do You Play to in Cornhole?
Most cornhole games are played to 21 points, and a team must reach 21 at the end of a completed frame — never mid-frame — to win. Some casual and youth formats shorten the target to 11 or 15 points instead.
How Many Frames Are in a Cornhole Game?
There's no fixed number of frames — a game simply continues until one team reaches the winning score. That's why this score sheet includes 10 frames by default: enough rows to cover most complete games, with the blank version offering extra rows for longer ones.
Common Cornhole Score Sheet Mistakes
Forgetting Cancellation Scoring
Recording both teams' raw points instead of just the winning side's difference inflates the score and throws off the running total.
Recording the Raw Score Instead of the Frame Score
The number entered for a frame should already reflect cancellation scoring — not the total bags each team landed before comparing.
Forgetting the Running Total
Each frame's points get added to the previous total, not tracked on their own. Skipping this step makes the Final row wrong.
Adding Points Twice
Once a frame's points are added to the running total, don't add them again in a later frame — the total already carries them forward.
Recording the Wrong Team
In cancellation scoring, only one team ever scores per frame. Entering a number in both columns for the same frame is almost always a mistake.
